A New Battleground Against Evil: "Abortion is Murder" but "I Am a Firm Supporter"

Soccer Mom? PTA member? Daughter's school teacher? She could pass for any of those couldn't she!

So what does the face of pure evil look like? Is it twisted and contorted? Is it ugly and sinister appearing? Does it exist only in the dark corners of society? No, much like Camille Paglia (above) it often exists in much more dangerous places in our world. For Paglia, it is a regular sight at something called the "University of the Arts" in Philadelphia where she is actually paid to be a University Professor of Humanities and Media Studies!

So what is the "pure evil" all about? Certainly this mild-manner appearing woman could not be the focus of such an appellation. WRONG! Although I've personally never heard of the woman, I have seen her described as, "well-known for her non-conformist approach as a lesbian social critic and as a popular journalist and author." So perhaps some of you have heard of her.

Recently, Paglia wrote about the Republican Party's surge in the polls following the announcement of Sarah Palin as Sen. Jon McCain's presidential running mate in an article titled, "Fresh blood for the vampire." In it she discussed abortion and was critical of the Democratic Party's position on abortion. So why am I so bent out of shape about her you ask? You will not believe your eyes when you read what comes next.

Mind you, Paglia is not critical of Democrats for being pro-abortion. She is critical of the fact that, unlike her clear admission in her article, Democrats do not publicly admit the obvious, that being that ABORTION IS MURDER! (So that you don't think I'm making this stuff up because of how unbelievable it may seem, her direct quote is, "I have always frankly admitted that abortion is murder, the extermination of the powerless by the powerful."

So you would think that since Paglia has arrived at the truth about abortion, that she would be opposed to all who favor abortion rights. WRONG AGAIN! She doesn't do so because she is herself a strong supporter of the "right" to abortion. Again, here's her own words, "Let's take the issue of abortion rights, of which I am a firm supporter. As an atheist and libertarian, I believe that government must stay completely out of the sphere of personal choice. Every individual has an absolute right to control his or her body."

Twisted? Sick? Pure evil? You decide . . . and then pray, pray, pray!
